An NFA Gun Trust (NFA Firearms Trust, or NFA Trust) is a special type of revocable trust agreement designed to hold NFA weapons, Title II weapons, or Class 3 weapons. Illegal possession of a NFL weapon is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and a maximum of 10 years in prison. It is critically important to comply with all federal, state and local laws at the time of purchase and as long as the weapons are owned. The NFA Gun Trust is designed to help you do that.

The process can usually be completed by telephone and/or email and sent to you for execution.

Important Note: If you are legally prohibited from purchasing, owning, using, or possessing NFA weapons, you are also prohibited from using an NFA Gun Trust to purchase, own, use, or possess NFA weapons.

All NFA weapons transferred into or out of the trust, including items transferred by you or to you in your personal capacity, require BATFE approval and the payment of the $200 transfer tax.
